Socca tournament in Jena in 2009

We have to admit it took a while for getting photos and videos of the last year SOCCA tournament in Jena available for posting. The tournament has been about 2 months ago. We appologize to players and friends…

The Socca Bar in Jena is considered to belong to the best Table Soccer bars in Germany. It is located downtown Jena, the famous city for optics and soccer, both related to the name Carl Zeiss.

It’s been the third time that this well-known table soccer tournament took place in Jena. Professional and hobby players from all parts of Germany came to Jena to play hoping to score and reach the final game.
It took about 14 hours to get the final started since 28 teams were fighting to reach it. The final game started around 1 AM after midnight.

The win went to the team of Christian Heber and Thomas Otte from Bamberg and Kulmbach. Our best team from Jena got place number 4 – Florian and Felix.

It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to see everybody again in Jena in 2010.
