Game Tables

Once upon a time…there was a German guy who designed and built the first foosball table. This game table was certianly of poor construction but created the basic layout of foosball tables which is still used till today.

Quite a few design engineers and players followed the pioneer and created a wide array of different game tables. The diversity of these tables has been wide and most of these tables of the first hours have been poorly designed and manufactured. A milestone in manufacturing good tables for foosball was certainly set by Lee Peppard who designed his series of tables called the Tournament Soccer Line. These game tables became kind of standard for serious players in the 70s and 80s of the 20th century. Sold and designed by the Tournament Soccer Company these tables stodd for high quality and reasonable price.

Many other companies worldwide has been following these quality standards and the improvement of this equipment gave the joy of foosball another wave of success.

The section of Game Tables on these pages give an introduction to the different types game tables and their manufacturer. Howver, we tried to stay as neutral as possible in reviewing quality parameters and others.
